Our Baby Room is a calm, caring space where babies and young toddlers can feel safe, explore and grow. We take time to understand each child’s routines, comforts and interests, and work closely with families to help them settle into a warm, home-like environment.

GUIDED BY TE WHĀRIKI
Learning begins with relationships.
Our teachers are guided by Te Whāriki, Aotearoa New Zealand’s early childhood curriculum. They plan from each child’s interests, routines and emerging strengths, so learning grows naturally through play, care and everyday moments.
We keep our Baby Room groups small, so teachers have more time to notice each child’s cues, respond warmly and build the familiar relationships that help babies feel secure.

Bottles, meals, naps, nappy changes and settling moments are a calm, familiar part of the day. Our teachers take time to notice each child’s rhythms and cues, so care feels consistent, personal and unhurried.
There is space to listen, pause and try again — whether a baby needs a familiar song, a cuddle, a quiet moment or someone nearby while they explore.

The Baby Room is arranged for both active discovery and quieter moments. Natural materials, familiar furnishings and space close to the outdoors give children many ways to play, rest, return and begin again.
